Towards a New Frontier

Hey there, you are in Prim3.org (blog to be precise)

A brief introduction to myself: I am Allen Lo, a 24-year-old guy (as of 2007) from Kuching. I am currently working in Kuching too, under Telekom Malaysia. Even though I work in TM, but my
office is not at the big TM office in Simpang Tiga but at airport. Strange isn’t it? I am working as Assistant Manager there. I got my first degree from MMU Malacca campus for Software Engineering. Currently undergoing further studies at University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) in Masters of Advance IT.

To be fair, people who rarely or not close to me will say I am very quiet. But in front of my close friends and family, I can blabber about anything and non-stop. I think of myself as humorous, generous and sincere. My hobbies include: online, gaming, movies, watching sports and reading. I also like to enjoy good food but of course, it all depends on the budget condition at that time. Don’t get me wrong, I maybe stingy to myself, but to others, I can spend money on them just to make them happy

Some quick facts about me:

1. Born and grew up in Kuching
2. Loves football but only watching and not play. Plays badminton and bowling.
3. Loves computer games but only plays the best. My all-time fav is the Baldur’s Gate series.
4. Loves messing around with the PC. Was a hardcore overclocker back then but quit due to budget problem. (Latest tech is expensive)
5. Always download animes/movies/dramas but only keeping them and not watching
6. Hardcore Star Wars/Transformers/Dragonball/Macross/Gundam fan! And of course.. Fiona Sit too.. ^^
7. Super hardcore anime figure/models collector (anything from heroin figues/gundams/transformers/etc.. u name it ^^ )
8. Still single at the moment and looking hard for “the one”
9. I am a Cantonese but don’t speak Cantonese at home. Proficient in Hokkien and Teochew.
10. I am the eldest in my family
11. My nickname is Prim3
12. Working as an executive but was aiming to be a programmer
13. Driving a Myvi 1.3 Auto Premium Gold colour
14. Currently using Q500 (019 & 016) and Sony Ericsson K700i (012). Say “tak nak” to Samsung!

     Well well, Allen Lo Yong Kheng- the programming genius. You ask him a programming question, he will say “Is there anything that will wei2 nan2 wo3?”- meaning there is always a solution or answer from him. wah lao~ This quote reserved for Allen only. I don’t dare to say it.
     Know this guy in alpha year,MMU. Thought he will be guy who reads the book everyday and face the book all the time bUT i’m wrong. instead he face the computer most of the time~ as far as i know~Talking about computer.. PuH! Damm terror!! his Pentium 3-933MHz is far more faster than my Pentium 3-1GHz!! known as an ‘extreme-overclocker’.yaya. Of course computer enthusiast constantly want the better computer, He bought a new AMD pc *overclocked of coz* soon afterwards.
     So manythings to talk about computer, move to next one first - GAME!! This guy played lots of games, since… wHo KnowS~~~ Counter Strike of coz. Oh yeaH!.. tat includes Star Wars game lo.. Name whatever hot games in your mind, he’ll know.
     Game section too much to elaborate, *he drag me into playing online games FairyLand, Championship manager la, etc* Movie - Star Wars(every collection he have), DBGT-dragonball GT (hey, I downloaded a lot episodes for you man, FREE pulak*), and MACROSS - aiya, those robot lo.. children game~
     Everyone likes to eat bUT Allen Lo tak makan 2 things only.. ONLY!! Taufu and Egg - which is my favorite! err.. some of my many many favorite-food list. Whenever you bought a meal for him, just remember this - NO taufu, NO egg. other food he still can swallow down. I’m the DA PAO specialist for Allen liao. Agree??
     This cool guy sure have his own *cooL way, such as having his own principle - printed on A4 paper n paste on the wall. -The 10 commandments- One of it is “Not helping people”. Quite interesting huh? mainly because of this guy’s incredible talent, lotsa classmates asking for his help. He must have gone though this since alpha. I bet you must have Other than me, who constantly asking “Allen!! how to do this!!! tolong!!”, i know another person that haunting him down since alpha. What a tiring years for you, hiding and avoiding those troubles. Oh ya, if you are girl n up to his *requirement, you might stand a chance to get his aid though. i’m the witness!! hohoho.. eh hem.. though there are times you can’t be able to help me, i salute you! made me open the dusty, nearly-become-history programming text book. Unique characteristic, usually sleeps at 12 midnite, except at the times when he say “Yahoo! I’m going home soOn! Exam over!” or “Aiya, friends ask me go yam cha”. Rarely heard “Damm, haven’t finish reading this chapter! tomorrow exam..argH!”
     Overall, this guy is .. KiCK aSS! ask him where i learnt this phrase lo

     i still remeber, to let him know that i had found out which one is he, the first thing i told him is, don eat rice with ur nose ^_^
     he is shy when he is not close to u..after getting closer, u will have to be his listener ^o^ and he is good at creating stories, mostly about a little boy’s fantasy…hehe..
     he is intelligent..so i used to depend on him in programming works ^^”
     umm..he helps me a lot in my study..even now i am not in mlk..he still give me a hand..although he likes to bully me first before he gave me the stuffs -_-

     Allen.. my elder bro.. always like to bully his one n only sis, thats me. A computer expert, should say a genius. Anything to do with computer will surely ask him. Nothing has failed him before. He’s always my role-model as he is very good in studies, so good until i have to work very hard to try to beat his results. Of course, i won a few times.. hurray.. Hey, ur lil sis here needs a lot of big-bro-advice, so please listen to me whenever i give u a call.      Me again! I must say something bout this bro of mine, moody is the best word to describe. He’s a great great guy when he’s happy or in a good mood, but if he’s not, u better watch out, even though i’m his closest hmm…. sibling or say his closest person in this world (mayb for now only :P), i’m really scared of him when he’s too ‘quiet’ or when he looks angry. So, be smart =) Anyway, he cant live without his computer, computer is his life and his eveything i guess. What else to say? My bro likes chocolate (just like me!), sweets and soft drinks for sure.      First of all.. dude,WTH did you stay in Malacca??! I bet my life is gonna be more fun if you were here in Cyberjaya.. damn you for ruining it XD. I knew Arlen or Alien since Alpha year, I still remember how we met, our class was canceled and I asked him about it. Then from nowhere we became good pals, we just clicked. This fella is very brainy, skip class still can get 1st class results, he is the one always settling our Physics lab reports.. he completes it while I submit it.. great teamwork right We will also take turns to skip class too.. whoever is unlucky to get the SMS either one of us sent is gonna have to attend that damned 8am class and sign the attendance XD. You still remember the drama we had to present for English dunno wat? LOL that was hell of a memory, screw the lecturers. One thing I still don’t understand, why do you walk so freakin fast everytime? It’s like a race when walking with you.. you knew I was fat back and can’t walk fast, damn you again! XD

     Hell yeah I am not finished. This fella may look real innocent and shy when you first know him, but don’t be deceived, he is definitely not!! He can really talk, especially in ICQ, buaya king I must say.
     Anyway, anyone who’s reading this can clarify one thing for me?? Was Allen a monk? He told me this before and he sounded serious, but since he is so good in talking crap I am a little unsure about it. One last thing, you still owe me a trip to Kuching.. and visit the “Zhao Cai Mao” you kept mentioning about, how about next trimester break? XD
     Knowing Allen was one of the best thing that happened to me during my first year at MMU.. really a nice guy..kept me company in class, I was the outcast..dun really have many friends.. but as the saying goes, friends don’t come in quantity, but in quality, and Allen is definitely one of the quality ones ;).
